To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or another undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student in the master's program in microbiology and immunology, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
  • hold a degree in medicine (MD) or dentistry (DMD) or veterinary medicine (DMV) or a bachelor of science (B.Sc.) in an appropriate discipline, or a diploma deemed equivalent.
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 (or the equivalent) or the average required by the original university for admission to a 2nd cycle program, if this -this is higher.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of French and English. On request, the department may require proof of knowledge of French in the form of successful completion of a French as a foreign language test.
