To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student in the joint Ph.D. (nursing) program, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a master's degree in nursing, with research preparation or equivalent
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
  • have the right to practice the profession in Canada or have the preparation to obtain this right to practice, if necessary
  • demonstrate a good knowledge of the French language and the English language.
