To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Conditions specific to this program

Studies are governed by the Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and the following provisions:

1. Eligibility requirements

To be eligible as a regular student for the Doctorate in Social Work, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XXVI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a diploma equivalent to a master's degree from the University of Montreal in social work or a related discipline. In the latter case, preparatory training will be required
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.3 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle
