To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or another undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the M. Sc. (vision sciences), the candidate must:

Basic, applied and clinical sciences option

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a doctorate in optometry (OD), or an undergraduate degree adequately preparing for the studies they wish to undertake, or an equivalent diploma
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4, 3 or the equivalent
  • demonstrate a good knowledge of French and English.
