To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the Master's in Hispanic Studies, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a specialized undergraduate degree or an undergraduate degree with a major in Hispanic studies or demonstrate training deemed equivalent. In the last two cases, additional courses may be required as part of the master's degree.
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 (or the equivalent) or the average required by the original university for admission to a 2nd cycle program, if this -this is higher.
