The Doctorate in Administration course aims to provide students with further training in research activities in Administration. The course is free and strictly academic in nature. To obtain the Doctorate degree, the student must obtain a certain number of credits in courses and/or other complementary activities (such as publishing articles in scientific journals) and publicly defend a Doctoral Thesis, all within a period of 48 months.

Courses are offered during weekdays (there are no classes on weekends) and only during the daytime (from 8 am to 12 pm or from 2 pm to 6 pm). Therefore, ideally, students should dedicate themselves fully to the course. Each course generally lasts 4 hours per week, but there are also options for courses concentrated throughout the year. Depending on the number of classes in each course, the credits granted may vary. For example, courses with 15 classes of 4 hours may grant 8 credits, while courses with 8 weeks of 4 hours may grant 4 credits.

In addition to the subjects, the student must develop and defend a Doctoral Thesis, which consists of work supervised by a supervising professor, the preparation of which must demonstrate, in addition to the ability to systematize existing literature on the topic in question and the ability to use scientific research methods and techniques, an original and relevant contribution to the state-of-the-art of the topic in question.
