The world economy is presented as an increasingly determining area for understanding an important part of current phenomena and problems. The great international inequalities, the influence of transnational companies, the volatility in the financial markets, the changing role of some countries on the world stage, the challenges of development or the environmental challenges are some of the issues whose evolution has important consequences for the different societies. All this justifies the need to study and learn about the many aspects and facets of the world economy. Therefore, the Master's Degree in International Economics and Development proposes as its central objective the training of specialists in the analysis of the world economy and development through rigorous and advanced preparation. This training process provides: i) solid theoretical and methodological foundations for economic analysis, ii) ability to formulate and develop research and studies, and iii) specialized knowledge on central aspects of the different fields, areas and themes of the world economy and the development.
