The Master's Degree in History and Sciences of Antiquity (MIHCA) has established itself as a new framework for teaching and research in the field of History of Antiquity, which also integrates various areas of knowledge whose core is the study of the World Ancient. It brings together a significant number of specialists in Antiquity and allows a diversified, attractive and quality offer. In addition to having obtained the Quality Mention for the Doctorate in Ancient World Studies in which it is integrated as a training period, and having been favorably verified by ANECA, the MIHCA participates in the Campus of International Excellence (CEI) project. The Master in History and Sciences of Antiquity is interdepartmental, interfaculty, interuniversity and interdisciplinary and, in its ambitious conception, also accommodates other important scientific institutions such as the Department of Historical Heritage of the Hon. Alcalá de Henares City Council, the Epigraphic Archive of Hispania (UCM), Archaeozoology Laboratory/Populations of the Past Laboratory (Department of Biology, Faculty of Sciences, UAM), Desperta Ferro Ediciones, Felix María Pareja Islamic Library (AECID) and Museum Cerralbo, through which students will receive the most appropriate complementary training.
