Doctoral Program in Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid have a long and recognized track record. The four departments involved in the program, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, have traditionally developed Quality Doctorate programs and have been recognized as such by the Ministry of Education on different occasions. In particular, this program, which began in the 2014-2015 academic year, is the direct successor of the Doctoral Program in Advanced Chemistry, currently in force, with a history of four years, and which has the Mention of Excellence (MEE2011-0111 ) by resolution of October 6, 2011 (BOE 10/20/2011). Based on the experience gained from previous doctoral programs, a potential demand is expected in this doctoral program of about 40 students per academic year, so the expected offer of places is 40 per year, of which 20% are reserved, preferably, for part-time students.
