This is a two-year part-time clinically-based programme leading to the award of a Master of Nursing degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

This programme aims to equip graduate nurses with the knowledge and competencies to incorporate theories and concepts of nursing science and the leadership and management skills into advanced nursing practice in a clinical specialty. For a Taught Master’s Programme other than the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive M.B.A.) Programme, the applicant shall have:

  • graduated from a recognized university and obtained a bachelor’s degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class or achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or
  • completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should

  • have a Bachelor's degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or
  • be graduated with an average grade of not lower than "B" in a recognised Bachelor of Nursing programme; and
  • be a Registered Nurse; and
  • attend an interview (if necessary).
