Program Purpose Electrical engineers design systems that employ or relate to devices of all types that use electricity. This includes digital circuits, microwaves and optics, electronics and semiconductors, energy systems, and signal processing systems. Graduates of the Electrical Engineering program are expected to: 1) Be competent and productive in the practice of modern Electrical Engineering. 2) Engage in careers that provide opportunities for growth and leadership. 3) Keep informed of new technological developments and contribute to the expansion of engineering knowledge.
