In this program students must maintain a GPA of 3.00 to take Honors courses and remain in the Honors Program. All Honors Program students will be reviewed yearly. Any Honors students falling below a 3.00 GPA at the end of any year of study will be contacted and removed from the Honors Program. They are also required to complete the requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree. Food and Agribusiness Management applies marketing, sales and economic concepts to the food and fiber industry. This offers a business education with a twist. Building on the basics of business, including accounting, finance, marketing and leadership, the FABM major incorporates a special focus on the multi-million dollar food and fiber industry. Not only do our students achieve a background in business principles, but they leave the program with a working knowledge of the how the agribusiness sector operates and impacts domestic and world economies. We teach about international trade, product management, human resources, finance, and strategies of successful salesmanship.
