Human Development prepares students for challenging careers with individuals and families through the lifespan.  Community Education students learn to administer educational programs for children, youth and their families in a variety of community based settings.  It provides students with a wide range of career options, including working with children and their families in settings such as after school programs, YMCAs, camps, early intervention, outreach and cooperative extensions, and community based programs.  This concentration is an exciting innovative program for students who want to work with and educate young children, but whose interests are much broader than classroom teaching. Career paths The Administration and Family Policy Concentration provides students with a wide range of options, including careers in business, education, government, health, law, and social services. Graduate school is a recommended option for many students.
