The program is aimed to train highly qualified, competitive specialists able to solve scientific problems in fundamental and applied aspects of zoology using modern methods and information technology with employment in scientific and educational, environmental institutions, as well as in agriculture, medicine and health care.
ON1 To demonstrate and to apply knowledge of philosophy and methodology, pedagogy of higher education, foreign language in intercultural, professional and scientific activities.
ON2 To apply the fundamental concepts of psychology management, didactic knowledge, educational theory, and educational management in teaching and professional development.
ON3 Interpret systematic fundamental knowledge in the field of systematics, evolution, phylogeny, life cycles of invertebrate and vertebrate animals.
ON4 To critically evaluate basic and applied research in zoology, using modern diagnostic and analytical methods.
ON5 To use the modern geographic information systems (GIS) methods, environmental information in the study of animal biology and distribution.
ON6 To evaluate the current issues of interaction between genetic, anthropological, sociobiological, and environmental influences in the formation of behavior in animal ontogeny.
ON7 To interpret current research methodology in zoological science.
ON8 To classify methods for bioindication and ecodiagnostics of natural habitat areas of living organisms for restoration of disturbed ecosystems.
ON9 To develop scientific and technical programs and projects using scientific and technical information, rules and regulations of the legal framework for the conservation of biodiversity.
ON10 To analyze scientific research, methodology in the design and protection of research results.
