The program is aimed at forming the personality of a competitive qualified specialist who is able to critically assess his advantages and disadvantages, as well as to implement a management system for biotechnological products in accordance with the requirements of Kazakhstani and international quality standards.
ON1 analyze theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of biotechnology as a basis for the development or application of ideas to solve existing and new problems in accordance with specifically regulated standards; technical and economic analysis of biotechnological production and technical and economic documentation;
ON2 compare the features of the quality management system for biotechnological products according to Kazakhstan and international quality standards;
ON3 apply specialized research methods in a professional field for review and further discussion at conferences;
ON4 have the ability to search, critically analyze, summarize and systematize scientific information in setting research goals and choosing optimal ways and methods to achieve them;
ON5 develop research projects in the field of microbiology, biotechnology, genomics, bioinformatics, food, environmental, molecular and cellular biotechnology using modeling methods, as well as experimental and computational approaches for constructing phylogenetic trees and identifying target genes used in medicine, ecology and agriculture for building 3-D models;
ON6 analyze living organisms using specialized equipment, technologies and methods, including optical equipment, using proteomic and gene technologies, computer modeling for diagnosing diseases in humans, animals and plants;
ON7 select fermentation and auxiliary equipment for preparatory and final operations of microbiological production, obtaining biodegradable polymers, as well as the technological regime of processes, taking into account their use for waste processing, modification of the technological process and development of projects for closed production cycles in biotechnological organizations;
ON8 identify similarities and differences in the genetic and molecular basis of infectious diseases of plants and animals caused by pathogens and provoked by environmental factors;
ON9 summarize the results of collecting samples characterizing the biodiversity and physiological characteristics of microorganisms into the physiological characteristics of microorganisms existing in extreme conditions, animals and plants to create technologies for obtaining new types of products obtained using microbiological synthesis, biocatalysis, genetic engineering and nanobiotechnology;
ON10 conduct scientific research, lectures, seminars and practical classes using new practice-oriented, innovative methods and digital technologies in the chosen field.
