The social worker education lasts 3½ years and includes a semester of internship. As a graduate, you will become a professional bachelor as a social worker.
You have knowledge, skills and competencies that enable you to communicate, understand and work with people in difficult and vulnerable situations. Along the way, you have been challenged on your knowledge and perceptions of people. You may have also changed and developed yourself as a human being.
You can work on preventing and solving social problems. You can plan, coordinate, implement, evaluate and develop social initiatives at both individual, group, organizational and community level. You have been an intern and have tried to work with social workers within the framework of an organization and in collaboration with other professions.
You know that social work is shaped by social, political and legal conditions and changes. Human and social problems are often complex - and what works is not always clear. Social counseling is therefore never completely monotonous or predictable. You get responsibility and make decisions - independently and in collaboration with other social workers and professionals e.g. teachers, educators, psychologists and health professionals. And you can communicate clearly and distinctly with many different people. The education gives you the prerequisites to be able to work problem-oriented, investigative and analytical - also in relation to your own learning and development.

Social and health assistant education from 2004 or later with Danish C, English D and Social Studies C or Natural Sciences C.
The pedagogical assistant education with Danish C, English D and Social Studies C or Natural Sciences C.
