Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary education and includes biology, chemistry, process technology and engineering. At the bachelor's program in Biotechnology, you get a solid foundation for working with solutions to some of society's major challenges in bioenergy, health, food, production and the environment. The combination of biology and technology means that the bachelor's program contains important basic subjects chemistry, mathematics and process engineering, and that you gain a thorough understanding of and practical experience with cell and microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology.
Biotechnology is a 3-year bachelor's program studied in Aalborg. During the education, you work across the subject areas of biology, chemistry and engineering. The education gives you a broad knowledge of biochemical and biological processes.
