The study of psychology at Aalborg University is a professional education, where you are trained as a psychologist. The first part consists of three years of the bachelor's program (Ba.Sci), which is a prerequisite for being able to study in the second part: The Master's program which completes the education as a psychologist (Cand.Psych.). Working as a psychologist requires both a solid theoretical ballast as well as good methodological and practical skills. Therefore, you learn to understand and explain complex human reaction patterns in many different contexts. In the bachelor's and master's program, you also learn how to intervene when these reaction patterns are inappropriate. For example, mental illness, stress in the workplace or children who have difficult conditions.
