If you have a bachelor's degree in mathematics or closely related field and want to teach math to students in grades seven through twelve, the School of Education offers an M.Ed. in Education that leads towards teacher licensure in secondary mathematics. In this program, you can become a licensed teacher in approximately 15 months through our accelerated program. All the graduate programs have considerable flexibility to suit individual needs. The faculty has especially strong, active research groups in partial differential equations, applied mathematics, stochastic processes, functional analysis, combinatorics, algebra, control theory, and mathematical biology.
