Ecology examines the relationship that living organism have with their environment. During the course of your studies, much of your learning will occur while actively working on problems in class, during tutorials, and in the laboratory. You'll also complete a two-term research project under the guidance of a faculty member, and gain hands-on experience conducting research at a field school held off our main campus. Ecologists have global opportunities to work in areas such as conservation, mining, forestry, the public sector, and more. A degree in Ecology can also be used as a stepping-stone to graduate studies or a professional degree such as law, medicine, veterinary medicine, or architecture.​
