The Master's degree in Complex Fluids and Divided Media (FCMD), co-accredited by Paris Saclay University, Sorbonne University and the University of Paris, has been training engineers specializing in the applied physics of complex fluids and divided media for over 10 years. In practice, these systems include polymers, colloids, emulsions and powders, which are the basis of many applications in various fields where French industry stands out: cosmetics, agri-food, construction materials, road surfacing, wastewater treatment, oil recovery, pharmacy, etc. The training includes a first semester of theoretical and practical teaching, followed by 6 months of internship mainly in companies.
The first-rate supervision involves over 20 specialists in complex fluids and divided media, half of whom come from the three co-accredited institutions and half from the industrial and research sectors. This is complemented by an exceptional environment including access to the ESPCI practical work rooms.
