The division of Television Technologies was founded under TUIT following the decrees number 1088 on April 1, 2009, and 1123 on June 4, 2009, of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measurements to further improve the efficiency of exploiting television and radio tools of advanced technology in the system of Uzbekistan national television and radio company. Based on those decrees, starting from 2009, department of special in absentia was established in order to prepare professionals with wide specialties for enterprises of the National television and radio company of the republic.
