  • play an active role as the primary attendant in childbirth, including care in the first stages of labour and postnatal examination
  • prepare to step into employment once you graduate after 1,600 hours of nursing and midwifery clinical placements with our partners
  • understand a diverse, holistic range of subjects including Indigenous health, mental health, community and emergency care, research and midwifery across the pregnancy journey
  • graduate ready to apply to become a registered midwife (RM) and registered nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
