As part of the “tecnico della fisiopatologia cardiocircolatoria e perfusione cardiovascolare” health profession, graduates will be healthcare professionals who are responsible for the duties designated by the Ministerial Decree of the Ministry of Health of 27 July 1998, no. 316 and subsequent amendments and additions. They provide for the management and maintenance of equipment related to extracorporeal circulation techniques and hemodynamic techniques. Their duties are exclusively of a technical nature. They assist medical staff in suitable environments by providing essential information or conducting, always under medical indication, devices aimed at diagnosing hemodynamics or vicariates cardiocirculatory functions. Graduates of “tecniche della fisiopatologia cardiocircolatoria e perfusione cardiovascolare” can: plan, manage and evaluate what is necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment for which they are responsible, and guarantee the correct application of the required support techniques. They carry out their professional activity in health facilities, public or private, as an employee or as a freelance professional; they contribute to the training of support staff and to the updating of the professional profile and research in the areas of their competence.
