Entry requirements You must have a completed recognised Australian biomedical, health, or medical science bachelor degree completed within the past 10 years prior to course commencement with a grade point average of 4.00 or higher (on QUT’s 7  point scale) and a minimum volume of learning of 1.50 year full-time (or equivalent).
Assumed knowledge Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the degree subject areas listed below. If you don't have the degree subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge:
  • Anatomy 
  • Chemistry 
  • Pathophysiology/disease processes 
  • Physiology 
  • Statistics. Automatic advanced standing (credit)
If admitted to the graduate entry program you will automatically receive one and a half years of advanced standing which will entitle you to complete the degree in two and a half years (full-time).
