The Bio Resource Research Program in the College of Agricultural Sciences provides research-based, interdisciplinary education, in conjunction with a rigorous biosciences curriculum and opportunities for experiential learning and professional development, in fields related to biological resources, agriculture, and environmental, food and health sciences. Our graduates can contribute successfully to their future career fields or graduate programs, and think critically to help solve the world’s bio resource-related problems. Students can choose any one of the following option: Animal Reproduction and Development Animal reproduction and development entails the study of life processes in cells, organs, and whole animals to enhance efficient production of high-quality animals and animal food products. Students use antibody-based assays, molecular genetics, protein chemistry, embryo and tissue culture, electron chemistry, and other modern laboratory techniques in research in areas of animal reproduction, development and growth, preparing them for positions or graduate programs in the bioscience/biomedical/veterinary/agricultural fields.

Admission Requirements

OSU provides direct admission to the University for International first-year. Applicants must meet minimum English language proficiency and GPA requirements. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis with four entry dates. Other English language requirement: SAT: verbal/critical reading score of 500+ or evidence-based reading score of 560+.
