Purpose of the Degree Programme:
The aim of the educational program is to train highly qualified specialists - masters, with in-depth training, competitive on the domestic and international labor market that expects the integration of scientific research and training in the educational process.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Master of Oriental Studies after proper development of the program is able to use this knowledge to develop and demonstrate how the original ideas in the context of scientific research, to make information analyst and advisory work, be fluent in a foreign language at the level of Specialised teaching of special disciplines in universities.
Competency profile of graduates:
Graduates of a magistracy in the specialty "6M020900 - Oriental studies" can carry out the following types of professional activities: scientific and pedagogical preparation:
- scientifical research (research activities of spiritual, litertary and cultural-historical heritages of the East, current conditions of the Eastern countries in the political and social-economic spheres);
- pedagogical (teaching the complex of disciplines of orientalism, applying in the activities of the scientific researches and educational technologies; trainning the patriotic and international consciousness of pupils).
1) Organizational - administrative (Management and organization of services of the state enterprises and departments, the international organizations and funds, the centers and their structural divisions)
2) research (study of spiritual, literary and historical-cultural heritages of the East, study of modern political and social-economic conditions of the countries)
3) Pedagogical (pedagogical activities in higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan)
