Master of Information Management

The Master of Science in Information Management offers non-technical training with emphasis on the efficient and effective application and management of information technology in business contexts such as finance, marketing, HR, production and logistics.

Programme structure

The programme consists of a common core covering approximately half of the credits and a master’s thesis responsible for about a quarter of the credits. The programme is to be supplemented with electives subdivided in three domains: data science electives, software engineering  electives, and management electives, until 60 credits are reached. These electives enable you to either explore specific areas in greater depth or gain a broader understanding through a multidisciplinary approach. In completing your master’s thesis, you can apply the acquired skills within a specific business context.

Career perspectives

Graduates of the Master in Information Management play a very sought after bridging role between computer science and business. They pursue careers as information analysts, project leaders or information technology strategists.
