On this cutting-edge, critical and career-driven course, you’ll assess the criminal justice system, from prevention to sentencing, developing your own view of what works and what doesn’t. 
You’ll be studying with academics with vast professional experience in the field, for example as criminal lawyers, psychiatrists, police analysts, and civil servants in the Home Office and Ministry of Justice. 
You’ll develop in-depth knowledge of the principal concepts and theoretical approaches in criminology. You’ll explore key issues in criminal justice and criminology within a wider sociological and social policy context.
