This programme offers you the opportunity to combine studies in Music and one or two Modern Languages (French, German, Spanish, and/or Russian) in a variety of combinations. Our Music undergraduates benefit from some of the best facilities for music study and practice in the country. Your Music studies will encompass musicology, composition and performance - including one-to-one instrumental/vocal tuition. Many students receive their practical tuition from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, with whom we enjoy close links. As you progress through your degree, greater emphasis is placed on independent work and you are able to choose modules that suit your interests.
