The Rady Executive MBA, formerly known as the FlexWeekend MBA program, is an intensely quantitative program delivered in a flexible format for busy professionals. It is ideal for senior professionals and managers with 10+ years of experience; many of the students have experience in a STEM-related field or position. Classes meet in-person on the Rady campus one weekend per month and the remainder of the program is delivered through state-of-the-art asynchronous online learning.

Our students have come to us from executive leadership roles at Qualcomm, Illumina, UCSD Health and Intuit, among others.

The hybrid learning approach to the Executive MBA requires that students be on campus only one weekend per month over the 21-month program. These weekends will include engaging in-person coursework mixed with activities to help you build your network, your personal brand and learn from insights from fellow C-suite leaders. On-site weekends will include:
  • Classes taught by world-class scholars
  • Opportunities to network with top leaders in the technology, life sciences and healthcare fields
  • C-side Chats: An executive speaker series
  • Happy hours and mixers with alumni
  • Individualized career coaching
  • Executive mentoring opportunities
  • On-site support
