The Bachelor in Architectural Design aims at the formation of a professional profile mastering the theoretical fundamentals and the operational tools needed for designing architecture on its various scales, and paying attention to the conditions posed by the complexity of the transformation processes of the built environment. The educational program includes a wide disciplinary framework based on science, the humanities and arts, reflecting the wide spectrum of knowledge and skills required nowadays by an architect in order to adequately address the challenges, engaging him at an international level, also.

The teaching activity is basically organized in laboratories and courses, but also in seminars, conferences, workshops, exhibitions and study trips which are offered, in order to give the student the opportunity to face up to the most significant professional and research contexts, both national and international. An internship experience is also part of the program.

Graduates in Architectural Design can apply for several Master Programs offered at the Politecnico di Milano and at other Universities, or undertake the professional career, according to the law’s regulations.

1 - FINAL DIPLOMA OF SECONDARY STUDIES (AT LEAST 12 YEARS) Unless the document is not issued by the school directly in English, French or Spanish, a translation is mandatory. Politecnico di Milano accepts translations in Italian (preferably), English, French or Spanish.
2 - OPTION A) "DECLARATION OF VALUE" (DICHIARAZIONE DI VALORE) 3 - CERTIFICATE PROVING THE COMPLETION OF 1 OR 2 YEARS OF ACADEMIC STUDIES OR A POST-SECONDARY TITLE IN CASE OF COUNTRIES WHERE THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM LASTS ONLY 11 OR 10 YEARS 4 - CERTIFICATE ATTESTING THAT THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMINATION IN THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN HAS BEEN PASSED 5 - A CERTIFIED ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR AN EVALUATION OF THEIR PREVIOUS UNIVERSITY CAREER 6 - AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE TO PROVIDE WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF ENROLMENT, ONLY FOR THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES OF STUDENTS: students enrolled in Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programmes held in English; the minimum requirements for English language proficiency are as follows:
