The online master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) is designed for current educators who are committed to improving their instructional effectiveness and becoming teacher leaders. Students will learn ways of addressing the needs of the diverse students they serve and gain a better understanding of the dynamic policy environment represented by new, local, and state standards as well as the research-based instructional approaches and supports available to teachers in the 21st century. Students will use their teaching context as a site for exploring the ideas, techniques, technology, and approaches introduced in the program and for determining effectiveness at the local level. Students will take core courses in curriculum and instruction, as well as courses in one of the majors below.
