Students receive four years of performance training, along with taking a full complement of academic and technical theatre courses. They are afforded opportunities to perform in three different theatre spaces and to work with a variety of highly trained and qualified directors and designers. Students also receive instruction and practice in audition techniques and career preparation. The FIU Theatre Department is a member of KCACTF (the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival) and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. Admission is by audition and interview only. Career Opportunities Related Occupations: Landscape Architect Museum Technicians and Conservators Art Directors Commercial and Industrial Designers Fashion Designers Interior Designers Orthotists and Prosthetists Costume Attendants
