The program aims to train a professional dentist in accordance with modern international standards, who possesses the theoretical knowledge and
practical skills required for professional activities, qualitatively uses
research, ethical and communication skills, develops professionally in an
ever-changing environment.
Program entails 300 credits and comprises three phases: Part
I – Human Body Structure and Function (year I and year II), Part II - Mechanisms
of Health and Illness (year III and year IV), and Part III - Clinical Courses
in Dentistry (year V).
The learning process is conducted by highly qualified
medical and dental professionals in Georgia with academic and professional
experience. The learning process involves simulation procedures via mannequins,
special equipment, modern digital simulation devices (e.g. Body Interact,
Anatomage, 3 Dimensional Digital Anatomy Teaching device) in the Clinical
Skills Centre and dental clinics. The exams are of various types and focus on
