The B.A. curriculum is designed for students who seek a liberal arts education with an emphasis in the visual arts. A portfolio review will be required of students before admission to junior-level studio courses. Students need to be guided and encouraged to explore and to take advantage of opportunities to exhibit, write and discuss their ideas and to begin to develop a portfolio and resume. The student’s work is divided between carefully structured assignments and individually contracted projects.
