The University of Amsterdam offers an outstanding two-year Research Master’s programme in Psychology. The Research Master’s programme aims to educate students as critical and analytic professionals who are able to deal with ever-changing knowledge in a scientifically responsible manner, build bridges between subdisciplines in psychology, and contribute to the formation of cutting-edge scientific insights. This programme is designed for motivated students with a strong interest in psychological research, who are interested in a career as academic or applied researcher in psychology.
The primary focus of the Research Master’s programme is on developing critical, scientific thinking skills and teaching scientific knowledge and skills that are crucial for conducting high-quality psychological research. Central to the Research Master’s programme are two separate research projects (Internship and Thesis), which may contribute to publications in international scientific journals.
