      Undergraduate Admission


      We are eager to learn about your academic background, activities, accomplishments, hobbies, passions, and aspirations for your studies and life. Throughout the application process, we will work together to see how Catholic University aligns with your goals. 


      Traditional first-year and transfer applicants are required to complete the Common Application by the appropriate deadline. 


      Admission Evaluation:

      • No SAT or ACT scores required for effective admission decisions.

      Typical Admission Requirements:


      Competitive high school curriculum includes:

      • Four years of English, mathematics, and history/social studies.

      • Three years of science (including two laboratory sciences).

      • Two years of a foreign language.


      Specific departments may recommend additional science and math courses.


      Test-Free Admission Policy:


      • Standardized test scores not considered for admission, University Honors Program, and merit scholarships.

      Graduate Admissions


      Graduate students can study within master’s degree programs and doctoral programs in 12 schools. While the fields of study are unique and diverse, all graduate students at Catholic University have a common bond. They belong to a community of scholars who share a commitment to using their advanced knowledge and skills to serve humanity.


      Candidates seeking admission to all graduate programs (except Columbus School of Law) apply with the Catholic University online application. Deadlines vary by program. Apply using the Graduate Application Portal


      Master’s Degrees Application Requirements:


      • Complete the Catholic University online application (no fee required).

      • Provide official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (We accept unofficial transcripts for admissions review).

      • International students must submit English Proficiency test scores.

      • Send official transcripts and English proficiency scores to [email protected] for full admittance.


      Recommended Documents for Master’s Degrees:


      • Include a copy of your resume.

      • Provide one letter of recommendation.

      • Submit a professional goal statement.


      PhD Application Requirements:

      • Application requirements and deadlines vary by the individual graduate program. Majorly the University follows the following deadlines: 

      Spring (Classes start in January): November 1st 2023

      Summer (Classes start in May): April 1st 2024

      Fall (Classes start in August): July 1st 2024
