The College of Nursing at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University offers a nursing program that focuses on preparing nurses with high competencies in nursing and research skills to provide comprehensive healthcare to the community. The program starts with direct admission to the foundation year of the College of Nursing. After passing all the courses of the first year (foundation), the student is assigned to either nursing or midwifery. The program ends with a compulsory clinical internship (internship year) in the fifth year for a total of 12 months. Based on this, the student receives a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with the job title of nurse specialist. The program also offers an optional early exit point (Sigma program) after the student completes the first two years of the program. The student is then required to complete a field training period of six months. Based on this, the student receives a Diploma in Nursing degree with the job title of nursing technician.
